1. Texas is good and played better(they were ranked 5th for a reason).
2. With Mizzou up next for Texas and road games in Lubbock we stand a great chance of winning the south (IF we win).
3.
4.
5.
6.

Ok, I could only think of two but you get the point.

The bright side is that there's a "silver lining" thread giving me hope too!

the bright side is that vulnerables keeps showing EVERYONE how much he lacks in his current position; now, all we need is for stoops to reach critical mass so he can get rid of him;

Florida is killing LSU and will finish them off, OSU is looking like they can beat Mizzou, and Texas Tech struggled against Nebbers. With what im seeing, i dont think we'll drop out of the Top 8, maybe 9. We lost to #5.

So now, all we have to do is win out. Some of the games that WOULD be tough are at home, so they real challenges are probably OSU, Texas Tech, and maybe A&M, since they always seem to play us well in college station. We definitely have a chance to get back in. Just remember, the last 2 national champions have had losses.

The bright side is we still have a very good football program that has shown in the past the will to bounce back after a tough loss. Our football program will be fine this season.

Also this should be a special season for the other revenue sport mens basketball. Projected to win the conference and some preseason mags have them at the final four. Not a bad time to be a sooner.
