Besides the obvious Scooter Libby, do you think he will pardon the two boarder patrol agents who shot a drug smuggler in the butt? Who else?

Alberto Gonzalez.

I thought Bush believed the Border Patrol guys SHOULD have been charged.

He'll probably pardon Stevens if Stevens gets convicted as well. And I'd be behind him on that one. I don't have any need to see a guy that old go to prison.

Richard M. Nixon.

Maybe so, but I've noticed a lot of billboards up lately advertising employment with the USBP. Maybe they're running low on personnel. I wouldn't work for them, would you?

He'll pardon Dick Cheney for EVERYTHING HE'S EVER DONE. Then the ground will open up and Cheney will return to rule over the Underworld and all the evil tormented souls for all eternity.

As usual, you're hysterical. But not the funny kind.

I am totally divided on pardons. I think it's a travesty that Marc Rich, FALN, Iran-Contra members, etc. get to walk while at the same time Hamilton's No.74 lays out the case for executive pardon so beautifully that I am inclined to be in favor.

So, while I agree with it, maybe we could limit presidents to 20 as a solution so that civility outweighs political expediency, though I think banging Salma Hayek tonight is more likely than this ever happening.

In a complete heel turn, Osama Bin Laden.

He will then declare the war on terror won.

I would...on the Canadian border. I've got a buddy working the Can border right now and banking a ton of money.
