This one comes to mind:

Oreos - Any other sandwich type cookie fails to replace an Oreo. Not to say there aren't some decent sandwich cookies out there. But nothing replaces an Oreo.

Cheese. I will only by Kraft unless it's a specialty cheese like Gouda.

**** Paper. Charmin with aloe vera is the only paper that graces my poop shoot.

Potato chips. Ruffles

Coca-Cola. Nothing goes better with rum.

Dude, I hardly ever eat them but like every year or so I get this insane craving for them and I have to run to Target and buy a box. Yesterday was that day, and I bought the Target brand. FAIL. I had to drive back to get the real thing. I learned my lesson.

I disagree. Not that I dislike Oreos (and I think any other chocolate sandwich cookie sucks) BUT... those generic half-chocolate-half-vanilla cookies ROCK.

Speaking of crackers...

Chicken In A Biscuit.

And snuff. I quit buying Copenhagen because the price is insane. But since the change, I've come closer to quitting than I ever have because, well, it's not Copenhagen.

Copenhagen Long Cut Bourbon. Only use it when I mow the yard or play golf. $6 to $7 for a can.

I quit this summer all together.

How could anyone forget:

Kraft Macaroni and Cheese

I used to think that.

Then I was in a bind and used Velveta shells and cheese.

It's not Kraft...but it'll work in a pinch.

And, speaking of pinch. I'll second the snuff comments.

I tried going from Cope to a cheaper brand. NOPE.

There is a small mom and pop gas station down the street from me. They sell Cope 2 for $7 all the time (not just when it's "on sale"). Doesn't help my health, but works for my bank account.

I will add A1 Steak Sauce to the list and second the nomination for Oreos and Coke. (Specifically Diet Coke, for me.) Hydrox and Sam's Choice Colas can suck it.

What I'm learning from this thread is that y'all are a bunch of namby pambies and cookie and soda snobs. Charmin? Are you ****ing kidding me? I'll use anything from the aloe impregnated fag tissue to 60-grit sandpaper to wipe my *** or blow my nose. It's ****paper for cryin' out loud.

I'll drink diet coke, diet rite, diet RC, Walmart diet cola, or any of the other ones out there. Yes, they taste different, but different doesn't mean bad. A cookie is a ****ing cookie. I don't even eat them, so I don't really care, but I never really paid much attention to the subtle differences between a hydrox and an oreo. Of course I'm not gay either.

I prefer Tullamore Dew Irish Whisky, but I'll damn sure drink Jameson, Bushmill's, pretty much any Canadian, Jack, Beam, and even Old Crow (my grandad, the town drunk of Colby, Kansas' favorite poison). I'll eat tacos from anywhere, hamburgers from anywhere, and pretty much anything else besides guts and really fishy fish.

Y'all are picky.

We get the generic brand for as many of our groceries as possible, but soy sauce cannot be skimped on. Kikkoman is the only acceptable brand.

I find that most of the bagged cereals are better than their name brand counterparts.

and screw the name brand Charmin tp. Give me Scott single ply or any other tough single ply. I don't like my tp falling apart and it needs to be gritty and tough.
