Today, during Bob Stoops press conference, he was asked about his relationship with Mack Brown. He basicaly said that they never see each other so it's not like they are best friends or anything, but they are professional and each respects the others program. They see each other once a year at the Big 12 meetings, thats about it. But, Stoops did go on to say that when he was at Florida, he opens the front door of his house and his wife meets him asking why she wasn't told about her husband taking the defensive coordinator position at the University of Texas under his good friend Mack Brown! Apparently the news stations were reporting that story, which of course was false, and Stoops thought it was funny because he didn't even know "his good friend" Mack Brown on a personal level, just knew he was a coach.
