i liked this nugget...(not surprised about it being LSU fans)

November 9: #10 Alabama at #11 LSU (This is the show that led to the net being installed behind the set. Lee Corso picked Alabama to win and LSU fans were so upset by this they responded by throwing anything they could. One person threw a golf ball at Corso but missed. The only injury that day was a GameDay crew member who suffered a minor cut. The golf ball is still retained by the LSU Athletic Department. In the end, Corso's prediction proved to be correct when Alabama won by a score of 26-0). LSU and Army are the only two teams ever to be shutout at home while hosting the show.

Yeah, that's where I got my list. I just edited out the OU games and was hoping I didn't miss one.

I do remember being in Miami at that same time, but I do have a big black-out in my memory as well.

I have some missing time that day as well. I suspect I was abducted by aliens. Must have been it because my arse sure hurt when I woke up.

That can't be right. Last time we played USC was when Little Joe had that punt return!

Last USC game was in 1973, it ended in a 7-7 tie. They have been on probation ever since.

2004's national champion was nonexistent. Kind of like the 1994 World Series champion.

It may have been a show that was similar to Gameday, but bfore Gameday existed. But ESPN was on Campus for the 95 Colorado game.

Its interesting to me when people say Bob has lost his edge in big games. I know some of these games are from 2000 but 14-3 in games where GameDay was in attendance is pretty good. GameDay

I excluded the first one since Stoops wasnt the coach.
