View Full Version : Are penalties going to be a problem for us?

Seems like we had a bunch of penalties in the 1st half against Baylor. Combine that with lousy kick-off coverage, will it give good teams field position that we can't overcome?

What's your thinking?

only thing i'm worried about is pass interference on our D. don't want to give their offense a new set of downs.

Heh, you're kidding, right?

I saw a blip on the TV where Baylor had something like 2 or 3 penalties for something like 15 yards or so.

Ours? Several for a bunch of yards. I can't remember if it was in the 1st half, or 1st quarter.

There are currently only 34 teams, out of 119, that have more penalties than we do. Hopefully, we can turn that around.

Seems like Loadholt has got his stuff together now.

I haven't seen him get called since the 1st game that I can remember.

Yeah, I think the no-huddle offense caused him some problems early on. LOL
