I know we don't want to let all the cats out of the bag, especially when the key game of the season approaching, so my question is...do you think we've been just using the plays to get us through these first 5 games and about to unleash the rest?

I would say yes, there has been little 3 TE sets since cincy and even those sets i would say have had only 2 plays run out of them. I think we will see the full playbook this week.

It was a simple yes or no question.

I think you will see us trying to get the running backs on the edge instead of up the middle. But with speed on defense maybe up the middle would be the best plan of attack.

Maybe we'll even run Murray outside of the tackles. That would be new.

I hope Murray has been holding back his high gear in the early games, we need him rolling like he was last year v UT.

Our play calling was pretty vanilla last year v UT but good enough to win. I would hope to see a little more variety this year. But as long as we win, I will be tremendously happy. Texas is dangerous this year.

i don't think it matters, because i get the feeling we go no huddle full speed all game long, and the texas db's and lb's will be so tired we will be able to draw plays in the dirt and win by 21.

Stoops told me they had two 5 pound weights taped around each of Murray's legs. He also said they are coming off for this weeks game, so who knows what might happen.

No doubt! I did see a couple of sweeps in the second half at Baylor and DM can almost assuredly get 5 yards a pop on those plays. Best chance for him to break one is outside. He doesn't seem to like running between the tackles too much.

has anybody noticed that Sam has thrown Gresham's way only twice since the beginning of the TCU game? Methinks he is due for another big game. :)

I think Texas will concentrate on Manny and Iggy, leaving JG open. Who knows ... and some draw plays to DM.

Yeah I'm a little worried about Gresham after he left the TCU game. Maybe we're saving him for UT.
