Convicted on all counts.

See ya OJ!

LAS VEGAS (AP) - O.J. Simpson, who went from American sports idol to celebrity-in-exile after he was acquitted of murder in 1995, was found guilty Friday of robbing two sports-memorabilia dealers at gunpoint in a Las Vegas hotel room.

Simpson, 61, could spend the rest of his life in prison. Sentenced was set for Dec. 5.

A weary and somber Simpson released a heavy sigh as the charges were read by the clerk in Clark County District Court. He was immediately taken into custody.

The Hall of Fame football star was convicted of kidnapping, armed robbery and 10 other charges for gathering up five men a year ago and storming into a room at a hotel-casino, where the group seized several game balls, plaques and photos. Prosecutors said two of the men with him were armed; one of them said Simpson asked him to bring a gun.

The verdict came 13 years to the day after Simpson was cleared of murdering his ex-wife and a friend of hers in Los Angeles in one of the most sensational trials of the 20th century.

Simpson's co-defendant, Clarence "C.J." Stewart, 54, also was found guilty on all charges and taken into custody.

He heard the killer was in the Nevada state pen, and this was the only way to get to him.

you know, I got a speeding ticket in Wichita the week before classes started. I went to pay my $250 and found out the cop didn't write my car make and model on the ticket, and I got out of it. I was so happy about my luck, i didn't speed again...for at least a month or so.

I'm pretty sure if I got out of a murder conviction, I think I'd try to avoid things like armed robbery forever. What a tard.

I just wonder if OJ had tried to live a decent life after being absolved of his Ex-Wife and Goldman's murders...if his sentence would be light or maybe even if he was trying to even abide by the Courts decision to give the Goldman's money for the loss of their Son...if people might be a little more decent to him.

I can understand that if you didn't do it (Not saying he didn't here) you might not think it fair that the Civil Case against you leveled the monetary decision that it did. The deal is...he kept saying how he was going to do things to help everybody and he seemed to only be doing things for himself the last 13 years.

I hope he enjoyed his freedom these last few years...

It looks like it's over now.

What an American Tragedy.
