If I'm not mistaken, the Qataris have a longstanding connection with Southeast Asia as sort of a regional trading center.

I think Thailand gets most of its oil from there, so please don't mess up any of that.

Not sure of you can have fun in Qatar - I mean when you work 12+ hours and then ride in a car for 2+ more, but I will be staying at the Ritz-Carlton.
