I didn't watch it, but I'm assuming he's trying to blame Clinton for it and completely ignore that Phil Gramm, who is currently one of McCain's economic advisors, co-authored most of the legislation that Clinton signed. This mess was caused by a bipartisan effort to deregulate.

No it's a compilation of former and current democrats lambasting republicans for suggesting something's wrong with Fanny/Freddy/Wall Street and their recommendations to address the problems... but there is a clip of Clinton laying the blame at the feet of the democrats because of their successful efforts in blocking republican's attempts to better regulate this industry (his words - not mine)

I'm not blinded one way or the other. I generally hate politics(except this year for some reason -- this election is fascinating) I wholeheartedly disagree with Obama's ideology but I don't hate the guy, and I must admit his campaign, although insulting Americans' intelligence sometimes, has been pretty solid.

And yes I think it's offensive that Obama's canned response to the cause of the financial problems are "Bush's failed doctrines" or "The Bush Administrations' policies" -- which is sortof bull****.

And I Hate Bush. Wait, I meant... no seriously.... HEY

Considering the fact that PQ has openly identified with mostly conservative viewpoints on the board (Bush dislike notwithstanding -- but hey, even most Republicans disown him these days...), it should have been pretty easy to figure out that he was being sarcastic. To anyone that actually pays attention to the views of other posters here, at least. Pays attention, that is, instead of trying to fit every single person here into a "they agree with me on everything or they're evil by extension" box.
