I think all direction schools should adhere to a left, middle, right, up and down approach instead East, West, North, South. Left Michigan sounds a lot cooler than Western Michigan. Down Mississippi is better than Southern Miss.

Only works if it is some thing state. e.g Upper Left State, instead of Northwestern St. in Louisiana. Or Downright Louisiana instead of S.E. Louisiana.

I always pull for non-conference teams that we beat by 50 or more points. Its hard not to. It just makes us look that much better.
