Pffft. Those children are clearly socialists. Or Muslims. Or indoctrinated by the liberal meida. Or all of the above.

Don't North Korean children sing hymns about Kim Jong? Just sayin.

I'm not a fan of corny, so I didn't dig it. However, the opponents of Obama should probably be more fearful of what you don't see in corny ads - Obama's incredibly well-organized and funded grass roots campaigns in the key swing states. They have registered hundreds of thousands of young Democrats and have far more offices and hqs in the key states than McCain. This time around, Obama is acting like the Republican as far as money and organization, and McCain is like Kerry. Reading between the lines, I get the impression the Obama camp feels like they are almost certain to win, and are really hoping for a landslide, which is entirely possible.

I share your view on the effective of Obama's campaign versus McCain's, but what does that have to do with creepy, brainwashed children?

;)

It appears that his view of a "grassroots effort" is a hollywood production.

Nothing. :) But this thread was created so people could pile on and bash Obama, so I figured I would redirect things with the honest, hard truth which McCain supporters have to face.

I guess that is what will be sung in the re-education camps the regime will set up...

Man, that just seems so... ...inappropriate. Whether they are singing for Obama or singing for McCain. It is a rare and exceptional child that has enough intellectual development to think for themselves politically. I accept the occasional weirdo brainiac kid who gets all motivated after doing a book report and volunteers on his own to canvass, or stuff envelopes, or whatever. But that should never be shoved down his throat by his parents.

Those kids were put up to that by their parents. Which more or less DOES amount to political brainwashing. IMO, a parent's job is to instill a core set of values and beliefs, and then to set their child free to make those types of decisions on their own, when they are mature enough to make them. Sometimes the kid's gonna vote like mom and dad, sometimes he/she is not. If you've done your job, at the very least they will be voting based on what they believe to be wrong or right.

But that little excercise right there is, well -- you're right PQ and SicEm -- creepy.

IMO it would be WAY creepier if they were singing about McCain.

If McCain went out and hired a bunch of kids to sing about him, they'd all be in their late 30s. HIYO!!

It's not like anything bad has ever come out of children's political movements.

After The Obama sweeps in and seizes power, will it be a criminal offense, punishable by death, to post on a message board:

"I just threw up a little bit in my mouth."?

And It will surely be a criminal offense to broadcast "one side" on AM radio. The Fairness Doctrine will be brought back, liberals will hail the end of talk radio, and Rush Limbaugh will sign a deal with Sirius worth 10 Billion dollars.

This is creepy in so many ways, I would say the same if it were for Mccain. Just Wrong!
