I didn't know he was going to be there, when I first walked past and noticed him...I was starstruck. What a great guy.

Congrats!

You look kind of familiar.

Last time I saw him was at OU/Texas and he was in a shoving match with some UT fans. They hauled him off in a squad car. He showed back up on the West End later. Probably looking to sell a trophy again or something.

We just missed JW and Steve Owens by only 10 minutes, but they are supposed to be back there Friday and Saturday and I plan on being back there for photos and autographs.
I was going to ask him to yell "Boomer" but I couldn't. :D

Heh, when he shook my hand I told my wife i'm never going to wash it again.

He is definitely a very nice guy.

He is a great Sooner....I love his passion and how much he's around. He loves to talk about The Glory Days.

I told him I needed a signature on a 1969 SI cover of Steve Owens and he gave me the address to Steve's office and told me to just drop by and tell Steve that he told me to tell you to sign it. Of course...they threw me out of the office...just kidding...I wouldn't have done it....lol

I met him in Tulsa too! Nice guy. I didn't know he was going to be there. The one day out of the year I don't wear OU gear, and I meet Billy Sims.
