It's good for conferences to have upsets to bring more meaning to conference games... you just hope that it happens to other teams and not you. For example, Oregon State's win is good for the Pac 10. Unfortunately, it came at one team's expense, USC's.

For the political types that migrated over from South Oval, it's like Tom Coburn yelling at the Senate to stop wasting America's money. We need a Coburn, we just wish that he wasn't an Oklahoma senator, because we don't get to share in the pork feast.

Hey did you guys know that the sexaT and Arkie game was postponed due to the hurricanes? If you didn't, every announcer will tell during replays about 10 times. So look for it

aurorasooner
9/27/2008, 04:33 PM
Colorado is embarrassing our conference. Losing to Florida State for crying out loud FSU DL is absolutely killing the CU OL and CU looks a least a couple of steps slower today, and they're only down by 12 at the half. CU is not even close to embarrassing the Big 12 like the Pigs are embarrassing the SEC. I just noticed that McCoy has 7 rushes for 80 yards and is 10/12 passing for 100 yards in the 1st half. I don't know if Texas is that good or the Pigs are just really, really bad, but from Arkansas' earlier games, I'd say that Arkie fans are wishing that Nutt-job wouldn't have left.

Ha, Ha. Dook beat Virginia 31-3. I thought UVA sucked when they played SC, but from the media's suk, you'd have thought that UVA was a top 10 team when they got hammered by USC.

I don't know if Texas is that good or the Pigs are just really, really bad,

Yeah. The second one.

If McCoy tries to run like that against our defense he won't last through the game.

Watching Auburn is like watching the 2001 Sooners.
Auburn set to unveil 'revolutionary' offense
Tuberville brought in spread-offense guru Tony Franklin as coordinator at the end of last season and plans to introduce a no-huddle version of the attack in full this fall, something that hasn’t been attempted in the Southeastern Conference.

Even though Hal Mumme ran a version of it at Kentucky and Urban Meyer won a national championship with a different variation at Florida, Tuberville said Friday at SEC Media Days that Auburn’s scheme will be revolutionary.

“It’s no-huddle, fast-paced, fast tempo, involve your quarterback in running the football, spread the field, use a lot of wide receivers,” Tuberville said. “This offense is the future of high school football. Whether it makes it to this level, we’ll have to wait and see.,
