honestly, though, the people who go to see those speeches stand around waiting for a long time. I've seen TONS of people faint during marching band because we had to stand there for 10-15 minutes. People lock their knees, don't get enough blood to their head, and faint. So in those types of situations (especially when the speech is outside or the people have been waiting outside) I don't think it's a stretch to think one person could faint out of the huge crowd each time.
