i go to the tech people yesterday because i'm having probs logging on to the wireless network with my laptop. and girl who helps me is telling me to remove spybot and AVG which i've used forever and never had a problem and all the Colorado University computers (PCs at least) run Windows Defender and some other anti-virus thing. which is true. you go to the labs, both are running on all the machines. so, she wants to take AVG and spybot off and dl these.

i've never really heard or read anything great about Windows Defender. whass the deal? CU had a massive contract with Apple, so it's not that.

The best way to avoid viruses, worms, and malware, is to not go to pr0n sites.

:D

Seriously, I would help but I suck with software.

i had a question about the wireless network in the "student union" (i coudln't log in when i'd done it 20 times before) and went to the ITS place to question, we fixed that.

then, the Windows Defender thing happened.
