Is FSN going to show the Astros game instead??

I've heard that is true - at least for comcast in Houston. I'm hoping that DTV will stay with the game, or at least show the OU game on an alternate channel.

As of this morning, they still had the OU game on FSN (HD and regular) on their channel guide. I hope they don't pre-empt it!

On the Directv guide it shows the game on FSN-SW 676 and the Astros game on FSN-Houston 678/678-1 at the same time. The Rangers game will be on the FSN-SW alternate channel 677 at 8:00.

sooners on the HD channel

it will also be picked up in progress on FSCA (ch 120)

I'm a stro fan, but the season is over...

It's a matchup of the number 1 team in the country playing a top-25 team... How could they possibly pre-empt it for the nut-scratching, tobacco-spitting, nothing-ever-effing-happening "goodness" of baseball?

You talking Comcast? I just checked, it says Lastros. Only FSCA has OU live. Need to order the sports package...Who gives a crap about the Lastros anyway - their season is done...

I've got AT&T Uverse in the Houston area. I usually get FSSW-Dallas and FSSW-San Antonio in addition to FSSW-Houston. The schedule says the Astros are on FSSW-H and OUr game is on the other two. Here's to hoping I can still watch the game.

I'll be listening to 1430 AM.

Good ole Big Bob. My favorite call: "Ok, it's 1st and 10. There's the handoff!...Woah!...Wow!....Wow! What an amazing run! He refused to go down, right Merv?" Merv: "Yep." 15 second pause. Big Bob: "Now, it's 2nd and 14."

I guess I got spoiled listening to ESPN radio during the USC-Oregon State game. The announcer actually told us where on the field they were, what formation they were lined up in, who was in motion, and they would actually articulate what exactly is happening during the play. Wow. Imagine that.

Me too. and I'm in Houston and don't care about the stros. What it looks like is that FSN will show OU/TCU at 10:30. Hopefully the bball game won't go into extra innings.

Well, my AT&T U-verse indeed is carrying the game on FSSW-Dallas channel (753). The FSSW-Houston and the HD channel are the Astros. Good luck in the Houston area finding it on the other systems.

This is unbelievable! Does the conference have any recourse if the network preempts games that were supposed to be aired?

To the person asking what the cost is for channel 120....call Comcast and ask for the Sports Tier...should be $7.50 a month and also at the same time get credit for your outage for the hurricane...my niece-in-law came who works for Comcast came over to watch the game and told me about this...so I ordered it just a half hour ago....SoonerForever

Sorry, I figured someone beat me to it, but I was freaking out so much I just started going through the channels and as soon as I found it I posted.

I nearly killed someone. This is my first game to watch, due to PPV, Hurricanes, ABC crappiness, etc.

Moved back to OKC from KS this past Feb, so I don't have to worry about this anymore. Thank you God for the big things in life like watching OU football every week.

That really pissed me off when that happened. They had "College Football" scheduled on the HD channel. Fortunately, i have the College Football Bonus Package with my cable, so i found the game.

But still.....
