B.A. rolled again beating the crap out of Sapulpa. I just finished watching my dvr of that game. The RB the B.A. has is an absolute stud. Set a school single game record with 5 rushing tds in the game. He could have easily built on those stats, but he only played maybe 2 series in the second half. From what I add up, the RB I speak of, Steven Hopper now has 118 carries with 610 yds about 70 receiving yds and about 12 total tds to this point.

Looks like B.A. and Norman North are still in a battle for that #1 spot...
Anyone know how Norman North ended up doing out there?? I've seen a few different scores and can't figure out what the legit outcome was.

NN should be #1...

That's a tough call. If you think about the fact that B.A. Started out ranked 4th I believe...they beat the #1 team Union (who beat Jenks who was maybe #3 or 4 at the time)...then B.A. beat Booker T who is always a lethal team and I think they were a top team in 5A. Then, well Sapulpa doesn't do much justice for B.A., Sapulpa was just plain not good...but at least it was a shutout and no meltdowns to be seen. Solid play by B.A.
(Edit: Oh and B.A. beat Owasso who was ranked right up there with the top few teams early season)
Who has Norman North beat, I really am not familiar with that? They don't get much pub on this side of the state it seems

NN beat Muskogee soundly, and now 7th ranked PCN soundly...also beat Westmoore...and Norman High...

Well based on who both NN and BA have beaten (plus including my bias), I'd say BA should be ranked #1. (In fact the AP high school poll had B.A. at #1 this week, not sure what polls are used for technical things though). That's not to say if these two teams met NN wouldn't beat BA, I'm just saying based on the performances of both teams BA should be #1.
But it's early season, and it's high school, anything could happen.

At least high school has a playoff so these types of discussions are academic...

No doubt. At least we're both academic scholars after a couple posts in this thread as well. :D

My son is running fever and was a bit restless, so I was awake watching my dvr of the B.A. vs. Muskogee game. My dvr stopped before the game was over so I got online to see who ended up winning.
Looks like B.A.'s dream season ended tonight and is on the path of a normal "good" year with a current 4 and 1 record.
Muskogee scored on the last play of the game tonight to win 25 to 22.
Guess there's always the playoffs, but by then Jenks and Union ought to be rolling as normal.
After looking at B.A.'s remaining schedule it looks pretty favorable for them. Their toughest game will be next week at Jenks. So at least there's hopes for B.A. to have a9 and 1 or 8 and 2 type season.
Looks like Norman North won again, congrats to the west side for that.

Don't overlook Mustang. They are rising quickly with a 5-0 start after rolling Lawton 40-19.

My Sandites (Sand Springs) beat Bartlesville last night, impressively. Since I'm not in state, I'm not really up to date on who has the better teams, other than BA, Union and Jenks. But this is Sand Springs' best start in ages.

Nice to see us doing well for a change
