Barney Frank is just another in a long list of politicians that I wonder how they keep getting elected. Others of note IMO:
Ted Kennedy, the late Strom Thurmond, former Exalted Cyclops of the Ku Klux Klan Robert Byrd and of course Marion Barry. This isn't intended to be a complete list but just some of my favorites.

I always found it interesting that it was Republicans that were labeled racists but it was the Dems that blocked the civil rights act and a Republican president (Nixon) that started affirmative action and that the Democrat's senior senator (Bird) that was a grand wizard in the klu klux klan. lol

To answer your question, absolutely not.

And Widescreen is correct. He and Dodd share probably the most responsibility for this fiasco by continuously maintaining FM & FM were sound, while other were increasingly warning of problems, over the last 8-10 years.

And I would add Alcee Hasting to Scout's list of legislators continually getting elected beyond all logic and reasoning.
