I'm putting the cart waaaay before the horse, but it's entirely possible that the Big XII Championship Game could host an undefeated Oklahoma vs. an undefeated Missouri. Ranked #1 and #2.

If that's the way it plays out, that game would be HUGE:

#1 vs #2
2 undefeated seasons at stake
a spot to play for a national title on the line.

If that in-fact does happen, would that be the biggest 1 v 2 matchup in CFB history?

People were saying this about tOSU-Michigan in '06 when they were 1-2. I'm not saying a 1-2 OU-Mizzou matchup wouldn't be huge, but I remember that game being pretty big too, as far as MNC game stakes.

And yes, cuz of all the media members from Mizz, I would say they'll do a suffice job (once again) of making Mizz believe they're better than they are so that Chase can pout on the sidelines when he isn't as good as they say he is. Man, I wish we had No. 40 The Man here still :(

Seems like we've had 1 v. 2 texass games and that moniker didn't apply. There needs to be a history built up, a la OU/Neb '71 before that SI cover is re-done.

Given that parameter, the Tiggers can check back in around 2024.
