Last week when West Virginia played the puffs, the home fans in Boulder were dressed for a "black out". On Saturday, the Penn State fans will be dressed for a "white out". What about OUr team? Could we have a "crimson out" or "cream out" for a game televised in primetime?

Cream out would be awesome. would be hard to get the right color on everyone.

Edit: and they do this at basketball games but, if i remember correctly, it has not been attempted at the football games.

I think it was last year late (maybe Oklahoma State?) in the season that they attempted a white out in the student section. Each seat had a cheap white t-shirt.

I seem to remember it was below 40 when they did it. And noone wore it. Because they were wearing...you know. Coats. And long sleeves.

My wife will not wear any of that stuff either, I always kid her about getting her a pink Romo Cowboys jersey...I don't know that I have seen much Tech stuff in pink.

A&M has their "Maroon Outs".....

I remember the good old days of just going to the game, getting hammered and watching OU kick the living poop out of somebody. Not once did I ever care what other fans were wearing or what it looked like on TV.

No **** . I wear My OU shirt , My Cowboy hat, and tenny shoes.

Worse than the pink ones are the blue, green, and yellow shirts. At least pink MIGHT pass as faded red. The others are NOT our colors.

We do it all the time at LNC for basketball games, both men's and women's. It's enforced by putting free t-shirts on the back of each seat. I have a pile of those cheap OU basketball t's at this point.

That being said, I don't care for it. The whole "________-out" phenomenon carries a faintly Aggy-ish whiff. Maybe that's because Original Aggy in College Station more or less invented it as one of their endless series of made-up, yet venerated, traditions.

I think rather than see it as a cheap ploy or an aggie copy, why not see it as a show of fan unity among older alumni, younger alumni, current students, future students and just plain OU fans?

Oh GOD NO.... I sometimes sit in the donor sections. I want no part of 60+ year old saggy old Sooner fans. :P

one day i saw a person at an OU game and he had a green or blue shirt on, something weird. It wasn't even the opposing team's colors.

you would think that you would have a white, black or even gray shirt, if nothing else. Try to look like you belong (rolling eyes)
