I don't know whats going on, but it takes me 10 minutes to open a thread here. i can go to any other web site and i do not have this problem. I hit the post new thread 8 minutes ago before it would open. it loads the top banner than just sites there. At the bottom it say's waiting for ad.aftyii.net.

While it just sits there I go to other web sites and than come back to SF. just to check if the page has loaded.

I know i have an outdated computer, etc, I do use firefox. But the only web page i have problems with is SF.

So what the hell is going on??????????????????? I am hitting the submit button at 0937 am. lets see how long it takes to load.:(

That happens to me from time to time. I don't know if it has something to do with the number of people on the site, or my lack of any computer knowledge.

Its driving me crazy, I have restarted my computer 3 times. Sometimes it helps most of the time it doesn't. just pisses me off that all the other site work fine.

This will take about 10 mins

Did you download the new Firefox update? It came out yesterday, I think. Mebbee that'll help.

That thingy at the bottom of the page is probably the culprit...your provider trying to talk to the SF server...

Have the mods turn off the Poke filter. They've mis-categorized you as a sheep herder. The filter makes everything on SF run at 1/4 speed so the pokes can keep up.
