Looks like ORU has turned the corner.

Retired about $30M in debt so far. Sold the Roberts compound formerly resided in by King Richard, Lindsay and their bevy of brats. The campus TV station formerly used by Oral and Richard to bilk old ladies out of their Social Security checks is on the block, as is the ginormous three tower office complex.

Undergrad enrollment is holding steady despite last years' problems.

Good for them.

P.S. I still think they need to rename the place. Maybe they're waiting on Oral to kick first.

Can't say that I agree with a lot of what the Roberts have done, but if it weren't for Oral, there would be no ORU.
Grad school there was one of the best experiences of my life...

i had a cousin who played baseball at ORU and talking to him, 5 years after he graduated, i think he's still confused by the experience. good kid, though. it wasn't his first choice, but he wanted to stay in state and got some other offers...but not OU or OSU.
