So, I love being the only person in the pool at the gym. It's nice and quiet.

Today I'm swimming laps and some poser d00d comes in with his super-hot girlfriend and they star splashing around. Then they start trying to "race" each other, which is hilarious, because neither of them really know how to swim actual strokes, or are able to manage a full length of the pool without stopping. Heh.

So after a while the dude starts trying to "teach" her a couple of strokes. I keep swimming, chuckling in my head, because the dude has NO idea what he's talking about.

After a while I pause to catch a breather, and just about then Super Hot Chick says to Poser Dood, "you know, what THAT guy's doing doesn't look ANYTHING like what you just said. And he doesn't splash as much as you."

Then she asks me if I'd mind explaining how to swim breaststroke and butterfly correctly. So I explained, and she said "OH! Well THAT makes more sense."

Heh. Take THAT, Poser Dood. Super Hot Chick spent 15 minutes checking ME out. And after my explanation, SHE figured it out. You still ride the failboat.

Heh. I'm a distance swimmer, not a sprinter. And the pool there isn't deep enough to turn correctly. I was catching bits and pieces until I stopped for a couple of minutes.
