The Hampton Inn is brand new and quite good. Nice indoor swimming pool.

The Holiday Inn is also very nice and has a bar.

The Country Inn and Suites is probably the best deal.

I have stayed at all three and found them very good.

Sooner Legends is probably booked, but you should try. Residence Inn Marriott is nice. Country Inn and Suites is always decent. If Hilton Gardens Inn is open, it sounds nice. And there is always the Hampton Inn and Fairfield Inn over by Main St. That will give you somewhere to start I guess.

Brand-new, giant Embassy Suites up on the north side of Robinson at I-35.

This is the best resort in Norman! Be warned. There is a dress code. Wear your best wifebeater!

Wrong wrong wrong, i'll have you know the Detroit Lions already paid Chase Daniel alot of money to secure his services next year.

I'm glad to see he's spent it wisely.

I don't think Nick Saban would appreciate people renting out his new mansion in Alabama!:D

I was am looking at the pic of the mobile home park and thinking, "I know the chaps quite well in Soonerfans, and it would be hard to believe that they would even remotely consider such a dreadful habitat as a place to stay the night, all the while recommending it others." I fully don't understand what has happened here. Have we lost our noble upbringing? How is it that such an egregious example of shelter is now disparaging our beloved web site?

The Hampton Inn is brand new and quite good. Nice indoor swimming pool.

It's at least 9 years old...

It sure looked brand new to me when I stayed there. Of course, that was nine years ago.

You might try the Norman Marriott. I think it is fairly new. The only catch is they do not allow kids.

My fave place to stay is the Kappa house.

The only place I have stayed at in Norman not mentioned above is Super 8 at Main and 35. Indoor pool. Bathroom is small but rest is OK.
At this point, you will be lucky to find anything in Norman and need to probably look in Moore or OKC.

I stayed at that US Postal training place once. For the money, it was great. Everywhere was booked and I couldn't get a room anywhere. They had clean, cheap, basic rooms. Fairly close. South and East of school. I would stay again. I don't think a lot of people know about it.

No suggestions on a place to crash. However, after you come back to life and start heading South on I35, stop at Jo's Famous Pizza in Purcell to take care of the munchies. Jo's may not be open on Sunday - dang it.

you might have to check expedia or hotels.com for ones. I booked right before the opener and the only thing i could get was La Quinta (which was very nice btw)
