I grew up in Roswell. I've been rooting for NMSU to get it on since Mumme arrived. I hope they get it together this year.

Im a sophmore in HS. One of my friends, who wore I different Ohio State jeresey/hoodie/Tshirt every day that week....came up to me in class when I was reading the Sports Illustrated that had tO$U on the cover (the regional cover ones with 'SI's' top five), on the Friday before the USC game, and:

Him: "Can I see that? I want to see who we are playing this weekend"
Me: (30+seconds) [Deathly Blank Stare.]



After I told him, he was like "oh....this sucks"

Champaign. The Illini are finally getting somewhere, thank god. Hard to be a football fan in this town. My license plate says OU NO 1. People think that I am a tOSU fan. Bunch a stupids here.

Copiers....same colors....for a while same football unis.....Same basketball coach(heh), close logo, Sooners kinda sounds like hoosiers. The fact the last letter of both of OUr names is an 'A' is enough to confuse people.:rolleyes:

Then sometimes, Ill tell people it's OU, not IU...and they'll think Ohio Cats, then they won't know who we are.....etc.

Pisses me off.

They'll know who we are next time we win a championship. They'll buy a hat, wear if for a few weeks and act like they are fans. Then they'll forget all about us the next year. Happens to the champs every year.

In support to the post, Houston Comcast lists the frickin' Lastros on Fox Sports at the same time. I too was wondering if they will preempt the Lastros or will not televise OU. The game is listed at 10:30 for re-broadcast...

It's not on here. Or at least not on comcast. We get the New Mexico versus New Mexico State game insteady (and they are going to air it THREE times between now and Monday).

I understand that this is New Mexico and all, but I at least wish they'd show a tape delay of our game.

I think I have some friends with DISH that are going to record it for me. And this is gonna be my last football season with comcast.
