The Bears cuts former second-round draft choice Mark Bradley and claimed cornerback Marcus Hamilton off waivers from from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Hamilton was a seventh-round pick of the Bucs in 2007 out of Virginia and has spent most of his career on the practice squad until being elevated to the active roster for last week's game against the Bears.

Bradley made only four starts in three-plus injury-riddled seasons with the Bears after they took him in the second round of the 2005 draft. He had 38 receptions for 583 yards and four touchdowns. With Bradley's release, starting quarterback Kyle Orton (fourth round) is the only member of the 2005 draft class still on the Bears.

Why not the Cowboys, beyond TO the Boys aren't loaded at the WR position. Hell, Bradley's got to be better than what Patrick Crayton has shown this year.

If you cant get in the starting lineup in Chicago, odds are you are gonna have a tough time starting somewhere else

I have heard that it was more of being in the dog house more than being good enough while in Chicago

I can believe that on a college team but not so much a NFL team..especially a team with no talent at the WR spot

Well this "injury" has been bothering him for 3 years now, so he either needs a new doctor or consider takin in some disability:D

I thought he must have been "injured" when he tried to field a punt in that game that never happened

I have heard that it was more of being in the dog house more than being good enough while in ChicagoThat is what I had last year I think.I never did hear WHY he was in Lovie's dohouse though. If he is healthy he CAN definitely help a team out at wr and special teams Mark is a hard worker and has solid character,I think he Will get another shot..Good luck to Mark.

He was in the doghouse for openly criticizing Rex Grossman in the Locker room.

Lovie Smith said "sometimes divorce is a good thing" in reference to letting Bradley go.

Man, I hope there wasn't some locker room incident or something that caused this. :(

Oh, and I can answer that question:

Randy Moss 10 years ago.

He, along with Cris Carter (my backup answer) made Dante Culpepper look like a pro bowler quarterback.

herm said he followed bradley in college at Oklahoma, very athletic, was "immature" in Chicago. Edwards said lots of players have capitalized on second chances, he thinks bradley will make the most of it.

Great so he goes from a terrible quarterback situation in Chicago to an even worse situation in Kansas City!

The Chiefs throw the ball atleast and Damon Huard isnt bad for an old guy, its just every other game when he and Croyle are hurt that we are really bad ;)

and in other news Travis Wilson showed up in Dallas.

Huard didn't look bad last week. He's gonna get Gonzalez the receiving record this weekend....17 yards is all he needs I think. And if Croyle can ever patch himself up and stay together, he was starting to look good too.

ridiculous and completely wrong. culpepper absolutely was a pro bowl level quarterback. you don't throw 39 touchdowns in a season if you aren't. look at what randy moss did in oakland before you go spouting off about daunte culpepper.

thats cus Oakland sucked and Randy Moss was a spoiled athlete but he is a great wr when he wants to be
