Dood,
If you only knew. When I graduated in 1982, I had a 28" waist and 42" chest, could run a mile and a half in under 9:30, and could do 100 push-ups and 100 sit-ups in under two minutes for each exercise. I was a stud.

Did you ever run across a guy named Rutherford? Blond haired dude?

I went to Kemper Military School and he received a scholarship there. Of course, he couldn't get in to West point, so he went to the Citadel.

That's an average morning for the average paratrooper - except that it was 4 miles under 30 minutes.

I sure as hell don't have the 28" waist anymore, but I can do the push ups and the mile and a half today. The sit ups? Prolly not.

Spike Lee lost me after Summer of Sam. Especially when one of his characters says "mother**** the Mick." dude obviously has an agenda.

Bush and Cheney knew about ENRON? No **** Spike, so did all the Democrats on the hill. dooshrocket.

It's not the opinion, it's the writing off a particular director b/c a film of theirs had a sentence which you didn't like.

It's not like EVERY character in EVERY movie is voicing the director's or writer's opinion on a person or an event, some people are there to be agitators. We have soonerus and LAS for instance.
If you want to say it's a crappy movie, then fine. It was on last night and I watched a lot of it, again.

no no, there's more to it than that. I was just throwing out some lines. Summer of Sam sucked all the way through, I felt ripped off after wasting an evening (and date) on it. I've just noticed Spike likes to throw in little agenda driven jabs with his characters, it's got to go beyond the writers or else there wouldn't be a pattern. I think it's weak.

btw I love Hollywood, spent $30 on 'em on Saturday.
