I just want Chris Chambers to have a monster game tonight, or I risk starting my fantasy season at 0-3. Even worse, I will have lost to a guy who didn't even start Ronnie Brown this week.

The expected Jets/Bolts snoozefest suddenly turned into another Eagles/Cowboys scorefest.

Whew. I'm ahead 8 in my FFL but she has LT and I'm done. Every time SD is in the Red Zone I get squeamish. Rivers to Chambers....sweeeeeet.

Just one more time, that's all I ask.

Could TK be farther up Favre's alphahole?

 In two plays, Sproles takes 'em all the way down to the two...then LT gets the TD....that's bush!

This isn't really fun to watch Farve struggle like this.

There might be a toe sticking out.....

I wanted the Jets to win....but I knew better.

I disagree. I hope Farve throws 6 picks a game for the rest of his life for being the annoying attention whore that he is. I found it awesome.

One of the worst broadcasters in the game. FAVRE FAVRE FAVRE FANTASY! Pretty much the same even when Favre isn't even playing that night.

I, too, am amused by the consistent Favre attention (and I am a lifelong Packers fan who grew up admiring him as the hero he was for the Packers) as he continues his career with the Jets.

As someone who has followed his career a long time, here are the common Favreisms for sympathizers (I am a former sympathizer) to compensate for what totally isn't there.

1- "He's a kid out there." This translates to "he makes awful throwing decisions." He does more weird passing motions than any other quarterback and that is why he is the career leader in interceptions. It can also translate to "he's not playing like a veteran," "he looks like a rookie, sans the gray stubble" and "wow, a baby whines more than him" if you're an opposing fan.

2- "He looks like he's having so much fun." You would be having fun too if you were surrounded by so much talent and continued to get credit for everything they did (yards after catch is a big one). His teammates deserve a lot of credit because even the coaches do not know what the h-ll Favre is going to do next.

3- "He's just trying to win the game." A common reaction to late game ending interceptions, fumbles, wild incompletions, or other weird stuff that happens under the Favre Two-Minute Drill. Those media members that have caught on to this one have now responded: "Aren't all players just trying to win the game?"

He continues to be fun to watch... if for no other reason than you never know what's going to happen. When they put the backup in with two minutes left, I bet ESPN lost 90 percent of their viewership.

And TK whined, "Why did they have to take him out?"

Jaws, "Cause the game is out of hand, Tony." Rather stiffly.

TK, "But...but..."

I like Kornholer but it does make me laugh when Wilbon pwns him for being a star-worshiper.

Yes, I was whining silently too - what, you think I was watching MNF because I cared about either the Jets or the Chargers? Tee hee. If Favre didn't go to the Jets during the offseason, I bet that game would have tanked in the ratings.

Favre the morning after: "Bring me home, Mr. Wizard. I don' want to be a QB anymore!"
