Sam is #2 in the Nation right now...what's interestingis that some of the highly overrated Heisman Award winning, twinkie eating QB's that are worshipped by the media....are not doing better than Baylors Freshman QB

Sanchez, USC---- 510yds, 7 TD's, 2INTs. 68.3%---166 Rating
Tebow, Florida----489yds, 5 TD's, 0 INTs, 59.4%--149 Rating
Griffin, Baylor-----756yds, 7 TD's, 0 INTs, 60.3%--171 Rating
Carpenter, ASU-----1183yds, 7TD's, 2INT's, 69.1%---165 Rating

Big 12's Best..and National #'s 2,3 and 4 behind Tulsa's QB

Bradford, OU-----882yds, 12TD's, 2 INT's, 79.0%-------214 Rating
McCoy,Texas----833yds, 11 TD's, 1 INT, 77.8%-------206 Rating
Daniel, MU------1412yds, 12 TD's, 1 INT, 75.9%-------193 Rating

And even though OkSt is #2 nationally in Rushing...
7 of the Top 10 Scoring Teams are in the Big 12.

#1 OU
#2 Missouri
#5 Oklahoma State
#6 Texas
#7 Kansas state
#8 Texas Tech
#9 Baylor

Fun to look at, but totally different opponents so far.

True...

One thing is for sure.
If a Big 12 Defense is rated in the Top 10 after conference play begins, there is no question that they had to EARN it.

I hope the media keeps telling us how great chase daniels is. No doubt that he believes it, with his "Legend of chase daniel" comments. His head will swell as the year goes and in the end OU will deflate it AGAIN.

I understand your point...but right now ALL teams play cupcakes.

If it's just "weak" opponents, ALL teams would be way up there like we are.

I don't buy the opponents theory.

Not at this level.

Bradford, just like the team, just needs to keep doing what he's been doing and things will take care of themselves.

i'm a gator fan as well... but tebow on the heisman list is insanity. not very impressive at all. snachez shouldn't be on the discussion either.

bradford and daniel should be #1-#2 in no particular order. they'll sort themselves out once we hit conference play.

Certainly, no question, everybody knows that. In a great way.

Exactly...
If Sophomore Tebow can win the Heisman...then why can't Sophomore Bradford??

You said it, BIG_IKE. Before we dispatch the lynch mobs after BV, we'll need to check the stats of the other D units in the conference. Then we'll dispatch the mobs anyway. ;)

From what I've seen of Washington, I'm quite certain that both North Texas and App St would put 30 points on that defense.

I-AA Chattanooga lost to Ryan Perriloux-led Jacksonville St 31-3. I'm quite certain they'll get drummed by App St later on in the year as well.

That's funny, because BYU only put up 28 against them. Stop trying to downgrade our victory over washington.

The current QB ratings just show that QB ratings do not tell the whole story. I watched that Baylor/Uconn game and that Griffin kid has raw talent, but most the time he looked like a deer in the head lights. I've watched Tebow a couple of times and he doesn't have great stats right now, but he wills his team to win and makes the big play when needed. I understand why the media likes Tebow and I like watching him too (I'll wouldn't trade Sam though).
