Anyone heard about this yet? (http://www.amazon.com/University-Oklahoma-Sooners-Footballs-Greatest/dp/B0018GZYZ6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1222059379&sr=1-1)

I just stumbled across it earlier. The five games supposedly on it are:

* 1976 Orange Bowl vs. Michigan (W 14-6)
* 1986 Orange Bowl vs. Penn State (W 25-10)
* 1987 Orange Bowl vs. Arkansas (W 42-8)
* 1987 Red River Rivalry vs. Texas (W 25-10) (The, um, actual score was 44-9)
* 1987 “Game of the Century II” vs. Nebraska (W 17-7)

Special Feature: “The Best of the Switzer Show” Featurette

Which is a little annoying, given that the first two are already available on DVD.

To start a discussion...what does everyone else think should be on here?

And I'm disqualifying all games I've seen commercially available on DVD (1976 Orange Bowl, 1981 Orange Bowl, 1981 Orange Bowl, 1986 Orange Bowl, 2001 Orange Bowl, 2004 Red River Shutout, 2005 Holiday Bowl).

1984 OU vs nebraska for some reason this one never makes it anywhere but after 3 average years it was the game that signaled we were back. Scott Hall's stop on 4th and 1 and then Bradley going for a td to wrap it up. My favorite game as a kid.

Mid 80's at Nebraska when OU trails late but scores several times in the closing moments, including the game winning field goal after an amazing Keith Jackson catch on the sideline to stun the Huskers. Packed house that was deathly quiet after the Sooners came back to win.

I think that's 1986 Nebraska...and one of the finest Sooner Magic performances on record.

I'd like to see 2000 Nebraska on there, 2004 Bedlam at Stoolwater (we win on an Aggy missed field goal as time expires), 2006 Big 12 Championship (with The Drive) would be great, 1988 Bedlam where Barry Sanders puts up beaucoup yards and still can't beat us, plus that dropped pass, and 1977 Ohio State (Uwe Silences the 'Shoe).

Wonder when the game list will be official. The rumored list is good ... except it kinda stinks that 2 of the 5 are already on the market. I'd still buy the thing for the Arkansas and Nebraska and Texas games, but it would be nice to have two "new" games in the Penn St. and Michigan slots.

Don't know if it's a "greatest ever" but the Ice Bowl in Stillwater would be fun.

And, the 1980 Orange Bowl against Florida State ... the big win when Billy Sims runs wild on the Semilones ... would be good.

Damn...I meant to put that edit on the OU-Texas game.

First of all, it isn't Oklahoma's Greatest Games, rather the DVD is titled College Football's Greatest Games and the one you linked to is the Oklahoma edition with the five games listed. Cost of it is $36.99 but here's the interesting part. The Nebraska version of this series with five games is only $17.99. That DVD includes the 1982 OU vs NU game.

Nitpick much? ;)

The DVD series contains many of college football's greatest games, sorted by program, which is why I referred to the OU edition of it. Wouldn't make much sense for me to start a thread about the Nebraska version on an OU board, would it?

And why the 1971 Game of the Century isn't on the Nebraska version is far beyond me.
