DAL @ GB

I have to work today, but you all can stay tuned for some Rodgers > Romo smack later tonight :D

Oh, and GB defense > D's d.

Also, GB receivers > Cowboy receivers.

Some say that because they are the regional team they should get Oklahoma's support. Cheer for the Cowboys?! Well, I guess you could, but T. Boone Pickens requires quite a premium for those Poke tickets and the thought seems quite Aggie.

Go Pack Go! :D

3 years ago when we got the big screen my wife said why don't we get NFL Sunday Ticket? Needless to say we had it rather quickly after that.

badger - my wife is a big Cowboys fan, most of West Texas where she grew up is, she even played with her high school band in a halftime show at Texas Stadium. My dad is a big Cowboys fan as well but I have always been more of a regional fan, Denver is my favorite, then the Cowboys and KC. I grew up a big time Dolphins fan, at least until Huizinga bought them and fired Shula and Marino. I am also a Boston area sports fan so I have followed the Pats as well.

Even though a grandfather played for the Packers in the early 40's, they just aren't one of my teams. Nothing against them and I like to see them win against teams that I do not like but I am really indifferent about them, the same as many teams.

Vikings are already shooting themselves in the foot with penalties.

I get a lot of games at home, I'm sitting at work. Sorry I should have clarified earlier. Sunday Ticket kicks arse

bluedogok
9/21/2008, 12:27 PM
Directv has a computer viewing option for the Sunday Ticket games....of course the games being broadcast locally are blacked out which sucked when I worked at the office one Sunday...I ended up watching the Red Zone channel which showed a lot of the game since it was the afternoon timeslot.

9/21/2008, 01:10 PM
I did that all of last year while at Kunsan. Sucked watching the Superbowl at 0900 but it was nice to be drinking that early. How are them AFN commercials treating you?

Sooner5030
9/21/2008, 01:15 PM
The eagle commercials are ok. The others are the usual crap though.

Woah, the Vikings just threw the ball, and scored a touchdown. I'm not really sure what to say.

The Vikings really need to draft a QB and a WR.

I am a Pats fan, and frankly no. Their defense is old and slow, they did very little to address the needs over the off season and lost Samuel to Philly. The lack of Brady in there puts way too much pressure on the defense this season. It is going to be a long season.

PIECE OF **** TEXANS THEY NEED TO FIRE EVERYBODY AGAIN!!

I still to this day think Banks (the black qb) was better than Carr.

And Sage Rosenfels is better than Matt Schaub

I am too lazy to look this up myself - you referring to Iowa alum that nearly won the Heisman a few years back? The year we pushed Iowa to the Orange Bowl so we could go Rose Bowlin'?

Dallas has never won at Lambeau field?

Um... FALSE. Unfortunately

EDIT: Actually, come to think of it, I guess that game was back when the Pack used to travel to sheedy Milwaukee for a game every year, so TECHNICALLY (and what a lousy technicality it is), Lambeau is a place D has never won in. I didn't like the Milwaukee setup - it allowed season tick holders from that area to get Lambeau tix just because of that one game. But, then again, Packer tickets are so screwed up right now that they get willed down for generations with the Packer organization doing a d@mn thing... rant over, I promise.
