It was some sort of SUV, I believe. Maybe a minivan, I couldn't say for sure. My attention was mainly directed toward the license plate and figuring out what it meant.

PRN is an abbreviation for pro re nata which is loosely latin for "as needed."

I don't think that helps your quandary any but it is something I knew and wanted to show off.

The CEO at work has a vanity plate "GRD STR" I speculated it meant GERD Star, that he has extreme GERD because he is a chubby diabetic who eats any and everything. But a co-worker cleared it up: Grand Stander. He is an attention-seeker. Classic short man's complex.

The idea of vanity plates is rather ghey to me; however, there are some pretty funny ones out there. For one to work, though, you can't omit that many letters - who would have ever figured that one out?
