in about 12 hours. i haven't gone to bed yet, haven't packed and i'm not sure what time my flight is.

but i'm having a good time.

did y'all miss me?

pretty successful, I'd say. I played 4 poker tournaments...went out fairly early in the first one, won the 2nd and 3rd ones and got 2nd in the last one. won about $1200 after buy-in fees.

I did that whole don't go to bed before your 6am flight out of Vegas thing about a month ago. As soon as the plane left the runway, I was asleep all the way back to Houston...ah, the joys of Vegas and a great Sheryl Crow song as well!!

I did it once on about 3 hours of sleep and a drunky before boarding at 5am to DFW then connecting to Vegas and a 1st class seat.

We proceeded to drink mimosas...I quickly turned that into a beer and then at least one crown on the rocks...I kind of remember the Hotel, some secs and some gambling...we headed back after 18 hours of what can only be described as a blur....:D

i was wrong about this..i didn't go out early in the first tourney - I got 5th place but I didn't get any money - had to get 4th to be in the money.

and my flight was at 5pm, never went to sleep yesterday. slept great last night though.
