Yes, we need him this year to compete for the NC.

I appreciate where his heart is. I hope it doesn't put him in long-term jeopardy. How does this work? Does he heal up, but still need surgery later anyway?

Oh what do you f'in hillbillys know......

I hope it's an informed decision. I'd hate to see him try to come back in say, game six only to really mess it up.

I would love to see him come back and play this year for sure and next year for that matter but if I was a betting man I would say that he never puts the pads on again at OU...

aahh sshhh dont say that :(

SCOUT
9/18/2008, 10:28 PM
I hope he does go pro after this season. If he does, it will have meant that he had an impressive enough few games to convince scouts that his immense talent supercedes his injury problems. If he can come back and make that kind of impact, I think Bob will be hoisting nubmer 8!

I hope he doesn't tear himself up worse trying to play on it.

Two things, First I dont think the coaches would let him play if he was at risk to hurt himself worse and second, maybe Granger feels like he owes his teammates for embarrasing them last yr

I'm going to give him credit and say he wants to play...well, just because he wants to play. If that's the case I like it, and yeah if there was much chance of him hurting it worse I don't think Bob and/or the doctors would let him go.

Doctors would never sign off on this if there was much risk, though there is never zero risk.

Whatever happened to the "ankle sprain"?

Whole thing is just a damn shame.

Just wanted to admit I was wrong when I said Granger wouldnt suit up again at OU with that being said I'm glad he did and hope he returns back to form.

Do you know what happened? I noticed his knee looked bad but no one ever said what happened to him.

ACL, same knee he tore his LCL last year.

He's now torn his ACL in both knees.

why not?

We're halfway through the season now. I think the rule is first 2 (3?) games.

Thanks Tommie.....I didn't know how many games it was either. It is too bad he can't though because we could really use him. Sure hope they work on the D this week. He is a huge leader on and off the field. He will be missed
