Hooray, paintings!

Just finished these paintings for my favorite cousin--he lives on the Hudson river in NY and this is his dog, Ralph.

What is Ralph? I was thinking Golden Retriever until I saw the second one, now I think maybe his legs are too short for that breed.

yeah, he's a golden retriever... his legs looked kinda stumpy in the photo i used for that one, i think because of the long fur and the fact that he has a gigantic noggin. My cousin calls him "block head".

Yeah, that angle is going to jack with your perspective on his legs. What a cutie though. I bet he's a big sweetheart. His personality definitely comes through in your paintings.

I'm still waiting for you to paint that portrait of me in the garb of an 18th century southern planter/aristocrat -- powdered wig and all.
