Repubs = corporate handouts
Dems = social handouts

Oh stop will ya?

Why stop when the real political picture suddenly gets clear?

Where were the calls to stop it when a dozen or so SF posters were continually branding the Dems as “socialists” just because Dems wanted health insurance for the 30% of American kids currently not receiving health care coverage?

And, I want to point out here that the takeover of American financial services and industry is NOT socialism. It is extreme right-wing fascism. In other words, you aren’t working for the government who has taken over the “factory”. You are working for the “factory” that has essentially taken over government.

Fascism, like socialism, arises out of financial and economic crisis.

At least think about it.

And yes, my viewpoint is changed by Thailand with a mass uprising supporting a “new politics” which is not code for anything other than fascism.

Not just this issue but the whole damn thing. I'm sick of all the finger pointing when we all know that both parties are equally insane and that neither of them are for the people.

Alrighty then.

And, if there is any doubt, I love you very much, Tailwind.

But, wouldn't your post be a little more approrpriate in Rush's thread?

Why choose this one, which actually may have some merit for discussion besides a simple cut and paste job from a right wing hack?

a little fascism wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing. we definitely have some folks in this country who need "sorting out." ;)

I JEST!

Honestly, I never really understood fascism before.

That is until some Thai blogger posted about the Thai uprising call for "functional democracy". That idea now scares the hell out of me. What happens when the military legimately controls parliament?

As that blogger sees it and I can't disagree, it is damn human rights and damn anything other than uber supra industrial output. This is the Asian economic miracle on steroids.

Are you guys listening? This is not a good thing. China used as the key economic model can't be a good thing.

Republicrats = Handouts

I'm tired of all the handouts from both sides. I mean, where the hell's my handout?

Under the new model, are you too big to fail?

What economic value do you provide to the state?

Don't feel bad because 99.9% of us would not qualify.

Even the rich have lost 99% of their investments.

Yup, now we reward monopolies (anti-trust anyone?), bad capitalists (nothing new there I suppose), and I don't quite know what I think about it. I'm skeptical though.
