I am one of those that wish for the OU-TX game to stay there and not go to Jerry World.

City officials and Cotton Bowl backers hope the renovations will change that and make it easier to recruit smaller games, something with which the city has had more success.
All those extra seats are going to come in handy when teams like Texas Southern play there. :rolleyes:

92,000... anyone ever see a soccer riot? I don't have tickets, but I'm sure I'll be able to hear the madness from my house two hours away. Count me as a "tradition" guy that thinks it needs to stay put.

In, it needs to stay at the fair. Sure, the new place will be cool, but I think the whole experience it what makes it and you lose that at Jerry World.

They should have held back about 5 million from the reno, bought the surrounding ghetto and demo-ed it. The cracktastic neighborhood is the worst part of the scene IMHO.

The game should follow the fair. If the fair moves to Jerry World, it should go. If it stays, the game stays.

sadly, Jerry's first choice for Jerry World was the fair park area and renovate the surrounding area. too bad the Sea-Hag mayor of Dallas at that time would not even let the public vote on if they wanted it.

now they are left with the 'what ifs'
