See, it wasn't such a bright idea to do that was it? You kind of paint yourself into a corner with your unbridled support of Barack when his ideas dovetail with Bush's. ;)

Anyway, I'm not a military analyst, foreign policy expert, or diplomat. I don't have time to read the entire article you posted right now, but I read in the paper this morning that Zardari and some other dude are fighting over control of the government. Zardari says he will destroy the bad guys up there, the other dude wants to negotiate with them or bend over or something. Either way, they have to protect the integrity of their borders or they will end up the same way as Musharaf or worse.

This is what happens when these crazy ****ing countries get nuclear weapons, we can't force them to do anything. If we went across the border with overwhelming force and killed everything in sight: Pakistan army, al Qaida, women, children, etc., I would fully expect them to nuke our troops inside their own borders.

I don't have an answer for you, fortunately I don't have to come up with one. I do know that I don't trust Barack to do any better than me though, but he will have to deal with it.

I suppose we could call in the UN. :D
