i saw an instant classic post on another board about the WSU/BU game. Seems a WSU fan was a bit discontent with Bryles and posted this during halftime. (remember, it was only a 14 point difference at half.)

"Nice how they are trying to run up the score before the half. Glad it didn't work.

When you have 80 yards to go and less than a minute in the first half, and your up by two touchdowns, you don't normally throw long bombs in attempt to get more points. From the 50, maybe. From the 30 sure."

That's a pretty defeatist attitude to think that someone is "running it up" when you are down by only 14.

Consider this, we have a brand new coach and a freshman QB. I think we should be given a bit of slack. Plus, we didn't throw one pass the entire second half.....not one.

i just thought it was funny to accuse BU of running up the score.

it must have killed Bryles to not call a pass play though ;)

There's no such thing as running it up in the 1st half IMO.
