View Full Version : HD Interference - anyone else have it?

Since getting HD several years ago (Time-Warner), I've had period bouts of digital interference. It appears to be random, not always associated with a particular channel or time of day or anything.

The picture gets really pixelated and blocky and the audio starts sounding like Max Headroom (or like when a cd starts skipping).

Never happens on non-hd channels. My dvr is a Scientific Atlanta Explorer 8300 hd.

Anyone else have this terrible digital malady?

There's your issue. This used to happen to me, then I got Dish.

Seriously. See I used to be a Dish guy (for like 9 years). I fired them because they kept offering really nice hookups for "new subscribers only) and nothing for long-time customers. That didn't sit well with me.

Also just discovered that trying to record it to show the cable guy, it doesn't manifest itself on playback from the dvr.
