haha. yah Nebraska jumped out early in the first quarter, then I think we shut them out the rest of the game.

I sold my tickets to that game for about 750 bucks a piece and I stayed home....we had a few of the guys there watching...when NU scored the first TD I made everybody change seats..then after they scored the second time, I made everybody change seats again..from that point on nobody was allowed to move til it was over....

I still have my can of orange juice I had sitting on top of the TV that season

Another funny story about that game.

Friend of mine who is a big Nebbish fan was at home watching the game and after they went up by 14, confident about the certainty of a Nebraska rout, she switched off the game and went to bed. The next morning when she came to work, it was all "how bout those Huskers?" We'll probably never let her live that one down.
