Wow: you think Sam will be able to pick these guys apart??

I didn't realize things were so bad for them (from the Seattle Times):

Further complicating matters this week, however, is the unsettled secondary. With starting strong safety Darin Harris out with a concussion, walk-on Tripper Johnson is listed as the starter. And with injuries at free safety, true freshman Johri Fogerson of O'Dea, who until last week was a running back, could see significant action.

I took this from sports.yahoo.com The line about being another week closer to the unemployment line was too funny to not pass on.

Oklahoma (2-0) at Washington (0-2), 7:45 p.m., ESPN
The buzz: Another game, another top-20 opponent for the Huskies - who already have played Oregon and BYU. A different way to look at it: Another game, another week closer to the unemployment line for Tyrone Willingham.
The line: Oklahoma by 20.5. | The pick: Oklahoma 45-21.

We need to get our "throwing game" down tight on the road I think. Great chance to do so.

I love a good OU Saturday night beatdown, but I remember a fairly easy go of it with the "O" getting lots of time off last year. Then came the first full 60 minutes against the Buffahoes and we didn't seem to be fully conditioned in the final few drives. That being said, I hope we win by 40.

The bad news is that my Directv might be sketchy with the potential of Ike coming through Central Tejas, and I don't know of any bars that have cable. This sounds like a bad cable commercial in the making.

Those are some serious holes in the secondary - I hope we exploit it big time.

If not for that I was a bit concerned it may be a tough game, given washington was taking it too # 15 BYU at home.

BYU is overrated. I see a blowout. I've been watching these guys for a while. They suck.

I've been watching them for the past 11 years (married into huskie family) My wife is a Big Time Sooner fan now (wasn't hard to convince her) but uw is in a downward spiral that I don't see them coming out of for at least a couple more years. Bad to worse for them, and I see us destroying them saturday. 63-24.

I actually like Locker as a QB. He might be someone who has a better career once he gets to the League than now....The difference between BYU and OU is that both are experienced on offense, but OU is more dynamic and explosive. U-Dub might have had the athletes on D to make it closer than it should have been. OU's talent can expose U-Dub's defense in ways that BYU could not. BTW, BYU's TE, Petta, had a monster game against U-Dub. Expect Gresham to go nuclear!

You obviously forget how soft the Big 12 is in comparison to the mighty PAC 10.

I'd just like to see us play on the road somewhere close to how we do at home. If the boys can do that, they'll roll.
