They looked fundamentally sound last year when I watched them against Oregon, but damn... Mike sure ain't his brother when it comes to managing a game. He had 'em and all he had to do was run the clock out, and he's calling pass plays after pass plays after pass plays, several of which could have been easily picked, hence ruining the upset.

On AZ, I haven`t seen anything except the scores, but outscouring your first two opponents 111-16 is pretty good. Those opponents weren`t Top 20 for sure, but Mike`s gotta follow the Mangino plan - beat some non-cong cupcakes then hope to beat enough conf rivals to get into a bowl.

It eventually paid off big for Mangino, and I think AZ is finally around the corner.

It would be great to see Mikey pull it off.

For those w/ CSTV, Arizona will be on this Saturday @7PM CST. They'll be @ New Mexico.

The 2nd half of the season will be much more telling for the Wildcats when they face four ranked teams (Cal, SUC, Oregon, and ASU). Playing @ UCLA in 2 weeks won't be easy, either; UCLA's D looked pretty good against Tenn. But they are definitely off to a hot start and will hopefully be able to ride that momentum.

Arizona @ New Mexico is on CSTV this week, unfortunately at the same time as OU/Wash and SUC/tMOSTOVERRATEDU... I guess that's what DVRs are for.
