Why? For being nice to the Mocs and only drubbing them by 55?

I wouldn't put us at #1 til after the Texass game.

They have tOsu at no. 2 so that doesn't help the credibility of the poll.

The only week where being number one matters is the one right after the BCS championship game.
It also matters after the last regular games of the season when the BCS championship teams are selected (#2 is equally important on that one).
