It is truly sad that The Macarena took up an entire 14 weeks in 1996!

Anyone born from 1995 after is going to be ashamed of their song. It's sickening to see what passes for popular music these days.

Of course I go and say that and I'm not much better: Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder - Ebony and Ivory

I know virtually every word to every song on my birthday up through high school, then only a couple while in college and none since (except for the 2 that are remakes from oldies). In my defense, only 2 have been other than rap/R&B since 1990....and those were Wilson Philips "Hold On" and Bryan Adams "Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman". I guess that is what I get for not listening to KJ103 after high school.

The UK list has much cooler songs overall.

C'mon Johnny, let me be your teddy bear.

Elvis might have been kickin' it in the ****ter on my birthday, but I can guarantee it was a smokin' hot one.
