Euro collider project set to start today!

After 15 years, we're back on track. It's a *tragedy* that the american supercollider project was so poorly run and corrupt and had to be scrapped.

Understanding the most fundamental elements of physics is like widening the base of an upside down pyramid. Hopefully we'll be able to build untold new applications from this knowledge. And on a less practical note, seeing the innermost workings of nature and matter is in the classic sense of the word, awesome.
