I live 50 miles from Tallahassee and I'm covered up with Seminole fans (and Georgia Fans). These guys want to score more on the Mocs than the sooners so that they can claim to be better than OU.

I had to point out our boys were up 50 at the half and that UTC ended up with 36 total yards and 2 first downs.

After the noles won 69-0 Saturday, I heard 3 or 4 proclaim that "We are Back"
They forget it was against a 1-AA opponent that Bobby scheduled after having 37 players suspended for the first 3 games. They were scheduled to play Alabama and another D1 program that slips my mind, but Bobby bought those games out so he could win and stay ahead of Joe Pa in their little race.

By the way, you'll never meet a fan more arrogant that a FSU fan !!!

FSU sucks.

There is really nothing else to say.

Until FSU is ranked in the tip 5 who cares. OU could have won 100+ vs UTC, but what is the point.

The Noles' better watch out; the Mocs are on a roll!

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP)—Tony Pastore threw for 320 yards and three touchdowns to lead Chattanooga to a 47-6 victory over Cumberland on Saturday night.

Clint Woods had eight catches for 175 yards and one touchdown, while Blue Cooper added 159 yards receiving on 10 receptions for the Mocs (1-1), who compiled 503 yards on offense.

Cooper caught a 26-yard touchdown pass from Pastore to give Chattanooga a 16-0 lead in the third quarter. Pastore later connected with Cooper again for a 6-yard passing score to put Chattanooga ahead 26-6 in the fourth quarter.

Cumberland quarterback Matt Eades completed 13 of 31 for 132 yards. He threw one touchdown and three interceptions for the Bulldogs (1-1).

I live in the area of some good college football, nothing really close except for a couple of teams, but all within a reasonable drive.

145 miles to see the Gators
250 miles to see the the Dawgs.
238 miles to GT Yellow Jackets.
180 miles to Auburn
270 miles to See the Bulls of South Florida.
and 45 miles to see the noles.

Division II National Champs Valdosta State is 45 miles away and 1-AA Georgia Southern is 200 miles.

Also the town that ESPN just named "Titletown USA" is 45 miles.

I was flying somewhere for work a couple of months after we beat FSU in the Orange Bowl, and the guy next to me was decked out in FSU gear.

I said, "That Orange Bowl was a hell of a game. I went to OU."

He said, "You guys got so lucky in that game. We should have won."

I said, "We were the better team, that's why we won. The only points you guys scored were the ones we scored for you on the intentional safety. We really won 15-0."

He didn't say a word the rest of the flight.

Oh that is their mindset > no one is good enough to beat them, just lucky enough to win.

You have no idea how many times I've heard how much better they were than the Sooners.

Is the SAME Cumberland that was beaten by Georgia Tech 222-0 in 1916 for the most lopsided game in college history?

yes, same school. Short version of the Cumberland GA Tech story is that Cumberland beat Ga Tech in baseball. Ga Tech challenged them then to a football game. Problem was that Cumberland did not have a football team. The team that lost 222-0 was literally a pickup team playing an established college team, thus that score.
