I prefer shoes with an open throat, them thar shoes would just be uncomfortable for my man feet, but I'm sure your whorn skinny lady feet will fit them nicely.

Oakley makes a fine golf shoe. I have two pair of those myself, but w/o the red.

walking. srsly deaner. They are the most comfortable shoes out of the box I've ever bought. And I play a little.

Good to know. I need a new pair and haven't been happy since I had a pair of Adidas (they decided to make extremely wide sizes since).

They should come in handy if I'm allowed to walk next week at The Downs.

But do they cost a brazillion dollars like their POS sunglasses do?

I will NEVER own Oakley shades.

Nope, one pair of Oakley sunglasses cost more than one pair of my shoes but not by much. What some folks don't understand about Oakley sunglasses is that the frames can last you a loooong time. Just pop in a new set of lenses and your golden.

BTW, Oakley sunglasses may be expensive but I have two pairs and I have had them both since 2006. I play a bit of golf, and to never have a scratch or never having to change the lenses out, says a lot to me about the quality of the product. Plus, since they do cost a few bucks, I pay more attention to them more so than a pair from 7-11.

Of course, I purchase all of my stuff on closeout or clearance so I can at least tell myself that I'm saving a buck or two.

Real glass > plastic glass

negatory. Cost is usually around 100 bones. About the same as most major shoes manufacturers. And you can pick them up brand new on Ebay for half that if you look.

I hate their sunglasses too, but the shoes won me back over.

Real glass > plastic glass

I'm not sure what you're trying to say, but if I'm reading your post correctly I'd rather have a plastic set of frames break on my eyes than a set of glass frames. Golf balls do have a way of hitting folks on the course.

As a person that uses his eyes looking through a lens, glass > plastic

If getting hit in the eye by a ball is a big determining factor for you, maybe a helmet with a face shield is in order. ;)

Also on a bicycle or motorcycle/scooter. When driving though, I wear glass Persols. THOSE are the ones that cost a brazillion dollars. I bought them when I had more money and no sense. They definitely are better to look through than my plastic Raybans, however.

Hmmn, can't really state that I know the difference in the two w'o research but I like Oakley sunglasses for many reasons. I just wish they were less expensive. However, like 4Life stated, if you look hard enough, you can find there shoes and sunglasses on sale at a fraction of the price.

Some of my pals wear Maui Jims. I don't care for the look but people who have them swear by them, but I think they cost more than Oakley's on average?

I tried a pair of Sundog sunglasses. They fell apart after 3-4 round. Not coll for $50.

i'd like to heh this one. but not like a normal heh. more like a heh that would sound almost maniacal, like a guffaw, maybe. yeah, something similar to that.

I'm more concerned about my six year old daughter. She's plunked me in the face with her iron a few times already.

I'm all about teaching her the game though... no dance class like the wife unit wants.;)

QUIT STANDING IN HER BACKSWING!!!!

On a side note, there's a course in Queens, NY where a helmet would be prudent. Worst golfers EVAR.
