When I played at Tulsa we use to call it Goldilocks and the 3 bear formation. Allows a young deep snapper to not worry about snap and block. He can just snap and run down the field.

Like so much in football it's the flavor of the season. There are no bigger copycats in the world then football coaches.

Google Chrome does some odd things. The code is exactly as it should be. Very strange.

I'm just glad the "rugby punt" phase died out quickly. Gah.

I haven't seen a good Swinging Gate in a long time.

Some college team the other day was running it, but I don't presently remember whom.

Don't tell Urban Meyer.

Meh, he's basically running a flag football team down there anyway. He'll probably have Paul Crewe come in for a drop-kick by season's end.

In all seriousness, if we have any area for improvement, it's special teams. It's not just the funny punt formation (aka "hit panic button when three guys line up in front of punter"), but kickoff coverage, kickoff distance, punt returnage... we need more team, less special... more special, less team? Both sound bad

Special teams: F. See me after class.
